Fantasy Points scoring system

The Fantasy Cricket Points System is a points system based on which players are allotted points based on their performance in the match. The Fantasy Cricket Points System shall apply to all Contests relating to cricket.

1Making a Team

After registration in a Contest as per the Contest Terms and Conditions, the Participant must proceed to make a team (also referred as “Team”).

The Participant will be allotted an initial budget of 100 credits.

The Participant has to select 11 players from the roster of players from both teams in the selected Match (each such player referred to as “Player”) within the guidelines of the Team requirements given in article 3 below (“Team Requirements”)

The Participant can have only 1 unit of any Player that he has selected. One unit of a Player is referred a “Player Unit” or “Unit”

An initial value of one Player Unit (referred as “Base Value”) will be provided by the Platform. These shall most likely be based on the Player’s past performances, if available

The Participant has to make a Team of his choice using the initial budget of 100 credits allotted to him

The Participant must proceed to select a Captain & Vice-captain from the list of 11 players chosen by him

A Team comprises 11 Players with one Unit of each Player and a designated Captain & Vice-captain.

2Joining a Contest

After the Participant has made a valid Team, he can join the selected Contest by making payment of the Entry Fee as applicable (in case of Cash Contests) or he could join for free if the selected Contest is not a Cash Contest.

2.1 “Joining Period” – This is the time from when the Contest is open to join until the deadline for joining the contest (“Joining Deadline”). This period is when Units are available to select based on their initial Platform assigned “Base Value”. Once this period for a Contest ends, new Participants cannot join this Contest and existing Participants can no longer make selection changes to their Team at the Base Value.

2.2 “Contest Deadline” is the time after which no further changes can be made to the Participant’s Team and the Team at this Contest Deadline shall be considered as the final Team of the Participant for that Contest

The responsibility to have a valid Team in accordance with the Team Requirements at the Contest Deadline is completely with the Participant. If the Participant is unable to submit a valid Team as per the Team Requirements at the Contest Deadline, he will be disqualified from the Contest.

4Player values

a) base value - The Base Value is the initial value per Unit that is offered by the Platform and is available to Participants for selection of their Team up till the Joining Deadline.

b) The Match Value is the value per Unit and is calculated as per the Player’s performance in the Match based on the Fantasy Cricket Points System.

The Match Value is usually updated while the Match is in progress. The Match Value at the end of the match is also referred as “Final Match Value”

5Team value

The end goal of every Participant is to maximise the final value of his Team by choosing the right combination of 11 players who can be best relied upon to score points for your team with their personal performances in batting, bowling within the allocated credits apart from other considerations.

The Team Value is valued in terms of credits and is calculated as the sum total of:

a) Aggregate of Player values of each Player in the Team.

b) Captain & Vice Captain Bonus

c) Unused credits

For the purpose of calculating the Team Value, 1 point scored in the Fantasy Cricket Points System is equal to 1 credit.
1 point = 1 credit

Invested Team Value or “Invested Value”
This is the Team Value based on the amounts of credits invested by you until the Contest Deadline

Match Team Value or “Match Value”
This is the Team Value based on the Match Values of the players. The Match Team Value at the end of the match is also referred as “Final Team Value”

6Leaderboard

a) Every Contest has a leader board.

b) All valid Teams as on the Contest Deadline will be listed rank-wise from Rank #1 to the last rank based on the Team Value (highest Team Value being Rank #1).

c) The Participant’s rank is also displayed separately in the My Contest page for quick reference.

d) The leader board is updated at regular intervals during the Match.

e) Final leader board based on the Final Team Value and list of winners shall be posted within a few hours of the completion of the Match.

1Making a Team Portfolio

After registration in a Contest as per the Contest Rules And Conditions, the Participant must proceed to make a Team Portfolio (also referred as “Portfolio”).

The Participant will be allotted an initial budget of 150 credits.

The Participant has to select 11 players from the roster of players from both teams in the selected Match (each such player referred to as “Player”) within the guidelines of the Team Portfolio requirements given in Article 3 below (“Team Portfolio Requirements”).

The Participant can have more than 1 unit (max 3 units) of any Player that he has selected. One unit of a Player is referred a “Player Unit” or “Unit”.

An initial value of one Player Unit (referred as “Base Value”) will be provided by the Platform. These shall most likely be based on the Player’s past performances, if available.

The Participant has to make a Team Portfolio of his choice using the initial budget of 150 credits allotted to him.

The Participant must proceed to select a Captain & Vice-captain from the list of 11 players chosen by him.

A Team Portfolio comprises 11 Players with one or more Units of each Player and a designated Captain & Vice-captain.

2Joining a Contest

After the Participant has made a valid Team Portfolio, he can join the selected Contest by making payment of the Entry Fee as applicable (in case of Cash Contests) or he could join for free if the selected Contest is not a Cash Contest.

5Player Values

5Team Portfolio Value

The end goal of every Participant is to maximise the final value of his Team Portfolio by choosing the right combination of 11 players who can be best relied upon to score points for your team with their personal performances in batting, bowling and fielding and the right number of Units per Player within the allocated credits apart from other considerations.

The Team Portfolio Value is valued in terms of credits and is calculated as the sum total of:

a) Aggregate of Player values for every Unit of each Player in the Team Portfolio

b) Captain & Vice Captain Bonus

c) Unused credits
